Our commitment to safeguarding
The Presbytery of Clyde is committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of all children, young people, and adults at risk who are involved in the life and work of the Church.
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. We seek to ensure that all who participate in Presbytery and congregational activities are protected from harm.

Safeguarding concerns
If you have a safeguarding concern relating to a child, young person, or adult at risk, it is important that this is reported as soon as possible.
Concerns should be raised in accordance with Church of Scotland safeguarding procedures. This includes contacting the appropriate Safeguarding Coordinator or, where necessary, statutory authorities.
Confidentiality
Safeguarding concerns will be handled sensitively and confidentially. Information will only be shared with those who need to know in order to protect individuals from harm or to comply with legal obligations.
